Silly Alaskan Laws
In Juneau:
- Owners of flamingos may not let their pet into barber shops.
- Buildings that preserve scenic vistas are awarded bonus points by the government. They don't go on to explain a point is or how they can be redeemed.
General:
- While it is legal to shoot bears, waking a sleeping bear for the purpose of taking a photograph is prohibited.
- It is considered an offense to push a live moose out of a moving airplane.
Anchorage:
- No one may tie their pet dog to the roof of a car.
Fairbanks
- It is considered an offense to feed alcoholic beverages to a moose.
I don't see the need to direct that comment at me. I mean, I like getting anything with antlers stupid drunk, but there aren't any moose (mooses?) around here.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you need a pet flamingo. B and K would love it I'm sure.
Well, don't give me cause to call you out then! :) Besides, maybe it's not a problem to throw back a few with a moose in Illinois. I'm sure we'd be hard pressed to find a moose in IL, so I'm sure it it probably legal.
ReplyDeleteyou make a good point. I'd imagine it's more of a reward here. "You found a moose?" "Congrats! Get it smashed!"
